Looking In, Looking Out, acrylic paint and impasto on stretched canvas, 2011. Cappadocia, Turkey.
This diptych was created during the 8th International Cappadocia Artist's Camp and Exhibition in Turkey. The work is a philosophical musing on the relationship between our inner psychological states and the way they can be mirrored in the landscape or context in which we find ourselves. The distant future, always seems bright and clear and simple compared to the chaos of the present.
