Since 1999 I have been making and exhibiting art around the world in Australia and through artist residencies overseas.
I studied art Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney, specializing in Ceramic Art and Design and then proceeded to teach for a few years there before living overseas in Germany and China, where I traveled, painted and visited art galleries, participated in artist residences, and taught art and design to architecture students at the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China.I returned to Australia eventually to pursue a second Masters degree in Conservation of Cultural Materials, and now I work as an Objects Conservator at the National Gallery of Australia. My creative pursuits have broadened to include singing in local bands, drawing my first set of tarot cards, and giving tarot readings as part of my business cosmicsnailtarot.com
Through studying, making, teaching, conserving and sharing ideas about art, I have come to see myself more broadly as a creative being and greatly appreciate that each person has a seed of creativity within them.
